Canadians with a Walmart read this!

Just picked up my copy from Walmart and the Spec ops DLC WAS included in the packaging! so don't worry because Walmart.ca would not let you pre-order, the DLC is still there. Enjoy!

I figured that would have been the case. I didn't even bother preordering, knowing the panic would have been for nothing.

You know what pisses me off? I asked 4 yes four, people in wal-mart.

First they have this lady that is so old she doesn't even know what call of duty is telling me in the system there is no pre-order bonus for brink and she's not even sure if it is coming out on PC.

After 3 more people they tell me there is no pre-order in Canadian Wal-Mart and that if I wanted that pre-order I would have to find an alternative....I "pre-order" from best buy to find out that it was just coming int he box anyways.

So sick of this crap and now the PC version doesn't support gamepad another $50 bucks down the [censored] drain.

Whoever does this stupid crap should be thrown out into the streets, their entire desk just thrown into the streets all of their belongings spilling into the street and they should be told GOODBYE you didn't know how to perform a simple task. Bad Economy? Tough [censored].

Breathe. If there are no preorders at Walmart Canada locations, then it stands to reason there aren't any special classifications for the game in their system -- it's simply Brink with Walmart-exclusive content, not Brink with some sort of "preorder" pack.

If they don't reserve copies, then they don't. They are correct in the case that there aren't any preorders. On release day, buy what you see on the shelf and check it for the exclusive content and call it a day.

You're on a PC. Learn to use a mouse and keyboard and strike fear into the heart of the enemy.

As far as I'm concerned, you're the only person responsible for your stress here. What appears to have stricken you is a conditioned expectation and a mistaken sense of semantics.

But see the problem is they DO reserve copies and asked me if I wanted to I should have mentioned that...just there was no SPECIFIC pre-order for Brink at Wal-Mart is what they were saying.

Obviously this means that no one from Bethesda's end was in contact with Canadian Wal-Mart's end, or some sort of miscommunication was going on here.

As for being responsible for stress, I guess? Still I wasn't the one who didn't inform any of their employees about the pre-order, or the manager, or not bother with putting controller support into the game.

If I could have somehow done these things to avoid stress believe me I would have.

Lol dude, its Walmart.

I am also kinda pissed about no controller support. No split screen or LAN on the 360, no controller support on the PC. Alright I get it SP, youre new to the concept of consoles, but put at least a little bit of effort into it next time.
