Why is it called that? Elda says because there is a candle outside thats been lit for ages. but i cant see anything, theres no candle. Skyrim mechanics screwing with the lore again?

I think she means inside. The one above the hearth. (fireplace)
Well she said, ''did you see the candle on your way in'' so i assumed it was outside. didnt check the inside.
That is a bit confusing but you can go in the upstairs entrance, not that I ever do.
I don't know why she assumes that you came in that entrance, then walked around the hearth to be able to see the candle.
If you'll notice, most every NPC goes through the upstairs entrance
I'm more creeped out that she continues to talk to Susanna the Wicked even after Blood on the Ice. I think she has coping issues.
Could be a powerful necromancer. Able to speak with her spirit from beyond.
They do don't they,I never really noticed that until you mentioned it.
I just figured she was speaking to Nils, and his budding insecurity from that is what drives him to introduce himself by name every time he sees me.
And I wouldn't bother, it just looks like any other candle.
