Hmm Ive seen those before but never tried them I have to now.

Once you've had them, just thinking about them makes your mouth hurt. I'm not joking.

Nerds, Starburst, and Skittles. I've had Toxic Waste before. Any flavor besides lemon made me tear up.

Riense, I'd very much like for you to try and find it in your stores, it's probably however a european thing only, orginally from germany or french or UK or idk. But it's a dark chocolate coated, chewy toffee candy. I don't like toffee as it, but the riense toffee is mixed with chocolate too :) Absolutely awesome candy. 0,75 € for 5 though. And one is just a little bit bigger than your thumb nail. :/ Good thing I usually only buy three packs of them, otherwise I'd be eating them through the night.

Toxic Waste because you only have to think about eating them and your tongue feels raw. Dunno if you guys have those in the US. Imagine the sourest thing in the world, then multiply it by 12.

Only thing I can think of that might come close to that is Black Cheery flavor Warheads. Pop two of those svckers in your mouth and you'll be begging for mercy :shocking: .

Another sour candy I haven't had in a long time was called Viper Venom. It came in a small tube and sometimes had a sour gummy candy inside, take a bite of the gummy candy and sip some of the sour liquid inside and you'll svck your face in.

Dude... I hate sour skittles. they are delicious, but I can only eat so many of them before my mouth is torn to shreds...

At first when you said toxic waste I was going... great a stupid comment about putting toxic waste in your mouth.. glad I kept reading! You can't get them in the US can you?

Bravo my dear chap! I am glad that you can resist.. Sugar is definitely a big weakness of mine.. I cannot resist..

Dang I wish my stomach could do that.. Its usually I feel my tongue get raw, then my stomach tells me "You bastard, whats with all the sugar?!?!"

me to... I almost went and bought more candy but found that I still had more skittles! So I ate those.

Chocolate counts. I didn't know candy and chocolate were two different things.... but I can't eat a lot of chocolate before I start to get thirst, so I am safe there.

Well.. I bought a big bag of skittles for $6.00 and I just kept eating, and eating, and didn't feel my tongue get really sore until last night when I brushed my teeth and the sugar and toothpaste kind of chemically combined in a wrong way to where my mouth was screaming for mercy... and I have no idea what the last word in your sentence means so I am going to have to go look it up.

tell me where you found the gummy worms for 2 bucks... I must know...

The FIzzy Skittles.

I don't like "sour" candy very much, so can't think of anything. I used to like Mamba's (much better than Starbursts) but not enough to eat dozens and dozens of them. Chocolate/caramel and ice cream are my weaknesses & neither have ever made my mouth hurt.

But occasionally I like to eat David sunflower seeds (in the shell) and when I do, I tend to get a giant bag and eat them until my tongue is practically bleeding from the salt.

Edit/PS: Oh yea, in terms of salt, beef jerky is the one thing that I have no self-control over. If I buy a 1 pound bag (and haven't eaten recently) I'll sit and eat the entire thing while watching a movie. It's odd because normally I don't like salt that much...don't like chips, for instance.

that could do it to you! I remember always doing that when I had baseball games. I would stuff a huge amount of sunflower seeds in my mouth when I went on the field, and I would come back with my cheek being all torn up.Thats usually all that would happen though because salty things again make me thirsty, so I have to have something to drink, or I won't eat them. Beef jerky is the same way, but YES!!! I love eating the big bags of them while watching a movie. One of the best snack foods ever. and one of the most expensive if you want the real good stuff.

Yeah, tell me about it. So far my fave place...it's around $36 a pound, and I'm sure that's not the most expensive place one could find, lol. I usually buy this cheapie stuff from 7-11 that's $10/12oz. I let it dry out a bit and then it tastes pretty decent. I'm one of those people who rarely feels thirsty/doesn't drink much while eating.

I've never heard of them. Is this something they use to keep southerners docile and compliant?

Why, we're always docile and compliant. It's not like you at all to bash the south, Turns. What's gotten into you? :P

Sour worms, and sherbet. Actually, some sherbet make my mouth as if its been scrapped with a rake and cleaned with a kitchen knife. I like candy, but I don't eat it much (anymore)

None. I can count on one hand the pieces of candy I eat in a year. Don't like things that are overly sweet (or salty for that matter).

I consider things like skittles, starbursts, warheads, and jolly ranchers candy, maybe because of the different colors. And chocolate I just consider it chocolate :P

Hot and sour Candy? That sounds..... dangerous for the taste buds. haha.

Sherbet is delicious! I haven't had that in awhile. My college student salary hasn't allowed it.. I guess I could switch out candy for some sherbet every once and awhile.. I may do that.

I found the bag at Sam's Club. I couldn't believe my eyes.

hmm... I am hoping they have it still. I would be very very very happy!

For people asking about http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toxic_Waste_%28confectionery%29, apparently they are available in the US and Canada. They come in an awesome oil barrel thing.
