2. There isn't a "Vampire's Guild" so this post is irrelevant.

Do you even know what a guild is?

In the high middle ages guild were a sort of caste in society, but they were formed to fight for better wages, because there was a lack of people from the black death and peasants wanted more money because there were less people that worked

Oblivion uses it more as a company or as a clan

Yeah... still no. Unless there is a really good backstory behind the faction. The Dark Brotherhood worships the Night Mother. Anyone can perform a specifc ritual and pray to Her for a certain person to be killed. From there the Night Mother relays the info the Listener of the faction and he/she in turn notifies one of the Speakers who will dispatch an assassin. Would the Cannibals just randomly jump someone and eat them?

Yes, but I was referring to Oblivion, and I've never played Morrowind. Sorry, I know I'm a nub. But when MW came out, I was like 9, so it probably didn't interest me.

oh yeh wasn't Lucien Lachance a cannabal, he had a couple of human hearts and wasn't one of them on a plate? some one head over to Fort Farragut and check it out

Wouldn't mind one personally, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to have a guild dedicated only to cannibalism. I would have a blast eradicating every last one of them for preying on and desecrating innocent people.

No.

Cannibals worked well in the Fallout universe because it was a post apocalyptic setting... There was little to no food, so some people reverted to eating each other.

This isn't the apocalypse... It's Skyrim.

A guild of people who eat each other for fun? Makes no sense...

Maybe there could be a small side quest or an easter egg involving a crazy cannibalistic Nord who lives high up in the mountains or deep in some forrest, but that's about it.

If you read lores you will see that Bosmers are Cannibals. they vow to eat their fallen enemies instead of animals or plants to preserve Nature

I can see them as a factions, far up in the mountains, kinda on the run, but not as a guild, no.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure an organization whose sole purpose is to keep a monopoly of eating people, and train people to eat people is not something that'd form.

Also, bosmer. They should never let a meal go to waste.

Cannibalism has had a ritual role in many real-life animistic beliefs. The idea being that by consuming something - or someone - you can gain its power. It's possible that this could be the case in Skyrim. Maybe a witches' coven or a remote tribe might practice Cannibalism in rituals to make their magick more powerful. It would certainly help make the setting darker.

I hope people know what guilds are.

It has been very clear since this forum was around that roughly nobody knows what they are.

While normally the rampant abuse of the word drives me nuts, in this case it's hilarious. Cannibals all tracking down and eating other cannibals who don't have their express written cannibal approval.

Their leader would be named Keseptimha (AKA Ke'Drakeha in Morrowind), a were-jaguar witch. Only female characters can get far in the guild; if you are a male she will eventually eat you for breakfast and lunch. ( <- choices & consequences )

Guild members are known for occasionally going into a strange trance in which they dance until they explode into a cloud of glow dust. They won't pay you much, but there's plenty of ale.

I could see having a small clan of cannibals hiding out somewhere up on a frozen mountainside. But a guild or faction with any large amount of quests? No thanks.

Frankly, we've seen enough cannibal stories from Bethesda already. Cannibals just aren't that interesting that every game needs to have a questline with them.
