A Cannibal Guild

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 9:46 pm

.

Actually makes it a faction that you could join for a couple of quests but the quests should be involving kidnapping and bringing the body back to the faction to eat. In return they could provide a secret store for human meat to sell to you and some stat boosts too. Also some other bonuses like randomly generated targets to kidnap, which expand the replayibility vale of skyrim.

They exist. They're called vampire clans

P.S. Unless you're talking about cannibalism cannibalism, like the Bosmer practice. That makes this a bit more interesting.

1. Vampires don't eat people, they just drink their blood.

2. There isn't a "Vampire's Guild" so this post is irrelevant.

Just dont get snowed in with one of them, otherwise they'll start looking at you with hungry eyes within the first 5 minutes.

I wasn't replying to the OP, just to the guy who thought the thread was stupid because "Vampire's are already in the game".

That would be interesting, since you know....cannibals are hot :flamethrower:

Offtopic but anyone notice how it says at lower left of screen/site that it says RP-M rating for the games?

SPOILER ALERT

I'm talking about a guild that has people that EAT other people. The cannibals from fallout 3 that lived in that one area with dead humans in the basemant, that's what I'm talking about. Except they should take that concept and expand it a lot more. Like maybe make it a secret society that are used to torture and eventually eat victims. They could maybe be a branch off the dark brotherhood. Just an idea.

No.

Cannibals worked well in the Fallout universe because it was a post apocalyptic setting... There was little to no food, so some people reverted to eating each other.

This isn't the apocalypse... It's Skyrim.

A guild of people who eat each other for fun? Makes no sense...

Maybe there could be a small side quest or an easter egg involving a crazy cannibalistic Nord who lives high up in the mountains or deep in some forrest, but that's about it.

A guild? Does everything need a guild now?

I can see them as a factions, far up in the mountains, kinda on the run, but not as a guild, no.

I think a vegetarians guild would be good too, then. The questline is a bit boring, but it would really be there for a balance*

These new guild ideas are getting more and more ludicrous with time. You obviously need to know what a guild is. A guild is normally supposed to offer some sort of service and/or teach a certain trade or skill.

Examples: The Fighter's Guild allows the more physically inclined to train while servicing the Empire; The Mage's Guild studies the uses of magic and alchemy.

What in Azura's name would a Cannibalism Guild do? Would you seriously enjoy playing as a character that eats other people?

There were mentions of Vampire clans in some of the books down in the vile lair in Oblivion as well. They were called the crimson scar or something. I would assume that the dark brotherhood allow for cannibalism as long as it's the right victim. I think instead of a guild it would make more sense that their would be a lair or a fortress that cannibals can go to enjoy their meals without being pestered by townsfolk or guards but to organize a group around eating others with a questline involved seems a bit excessive, only in my opinion.

Although, who says that every guild needs to have a drawn out questline? Maybe you could just do a couple quests to join the guild by proving you're a cannabal or something and then call it good like that vampire hunting guild in the imperial city.
