I play on an iPad 2 air. I got the new update today, got the free pet, and then bought 5 more pets. I played for some hours, then moved 2 dwellers to the vault entrance. One of them might have had a pet, possibly. Then a mole rat attack broke out in a room deep down in the vault. I didn't do anything about it, since the room is isolated. And then, the game crashed. I tried restarting the app, then restarting my iPad, but I still can't enter this vault. I can still access the 2 other vaults. Please help...

My game App crashes when I load my first vault

I can create new vaults, do not know if they eventualy crash, I have no interest in developing new vaults, my original and developed vault crashes after trying to load, I did get a cat and placed it, a mole rat atack was in proces when game cut out, and now the game crashes in the proces of loading that vault.


Tried reporting to support got an email teling me to look for help from other players on forum! This gentleman is no support, was given 96 hours to post problem or they asume it was fixed, so I am posting this beside the other bunch of similar reports that have gotten 0 responses from support or developer staff.


PD: got a second email from ZeniMax Online Custumer Support Survey, you have the gaul to send auto servey request about your support when there is nothing you can call support! Can somone at least respond and tell us there is a problem at that you have a dead line for fixing it?

Latest update, 1.3 I think


I have 2 well-developed vaults. The more-mature, non-survival vault loads fine. The survival-mode vault began to experience problems after 8 children were born upon opening. After that initial crash, the game would crash automatically after 5 seconds. I tried returning my wasteland explorers one at a time by clicking return on the fist one in the list and then quickly closing to the main menu. After successfully completing that task in 5 seconds, I have been unable to open the game at all.


My immediate fear is that in a matter of hours all my best dwellers out in the waste will be dead. My greater fear is that there will be no way to open that vault again.

I am running version 1.3 of Fallout Shelter. I have one vault with 100 dwellers, maxed out caps, six Mister Handys, twenty-five dwellers in the wasteland.

Since version 1.3, the game has crashed several times. After the last crash, when attempting to load the vault, the game crashes shortly after displaying the welcome back message. When the vault attempts to load, you can hear the sounds of the Mister Handys gathering resources, then the game crashes before displaying the vault. This behavior is consistent and rebooting the phone does not help. Since the crash that started this process, I have not been able to load the vault.

The game is running on an iPhone 6 with iOS 9.2. The game was installed one time and patched with iTunes.

I welcome guidance on how to get the vault loadable again. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
