just about ;-) thanks to oldblivion i can now play oblivion again. my pc is an ancient pentium 4 1.8 ghz machine geforce 3 ti graphics card (so you can understand my happiness).

the strange thing is that i tried it a while ago,and it didn't work, but this time it has (and i'm as happy as a daedra in an oblivion realm

the thing is that i will only be playing the vanilla oblivion game, when i tried the knights of the nine expansion it just crashed.but am just glad to be able to revisit oblivion again tbh (i used to play it on 360/sold my system a while ago to fund new guitar/amp).

it's definitely taking some time to get to grips with the new layout (and i've been playing a lot of morrowind on my pc).

i do plan on saving up for a decent pc to run it properly though sometime (after i have paid off a bike),but this will definitely suffice until then.

it's good to be home again

I actually used to play the game back when my only computer was an old Dell Inspiron 3000 laptop - got a crapload of lag, but I still played and managed to install around 100 mods. Now, my current laptop - this Toshiba Satellite L645D - plays it with minimal lag even with some nice graphic mods. Honestly, I'd say more than 30% of my HDD is taken up by Oblivion, mods, and saves. :P

But yeah, you could also try getting some graphic mods that reduce the quality to play on your computer - I know there are some, I just can't remember their names. :P

Congrats! I was ecstatic when I realised my '09 not-built-for-gaming laptop could run Oblivion, so I can understand your joy! Have fun :)
