While ingame, I keep hitting the ~ (tilde) to bring the console up and nothing happens.

In other games, I have had to modify the tge loading of the game (some games) to bring up the console, is this the case with Fallout 3>>

If you're on Windows 7 like me you're going to have to open the 'Start' menu search and open 'Device Manager' next open up the drop down menu for 'Human Interface Devices' right click 'Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver' and select uninstall. You will have to do this everytime you turn on your computer on as it reinstalls.

That's what the problem was, working now!!
