No matter where I am, it just says that I cannot fast travel from this location. I had just finished Reunions, and now my fast travel is gone. I really need help here, I have no idea what to do.

I have the same problem. I can't fast travel from anywhere - even from Diamond City. Many other players have that problem too. I think the bug appeared after visiting the National Training Ground or joining the Brotherhood of Steel.

No combat as there would be the text "You cannot travel while enemies are around" (or something similar, I'm German). In this case, the game says "Fast travel is currently unavailable from this location.". Again, it doesn't matter where you are. I finished several quests and ran from one side of the map to the other - nothing worked. Sometimes the message doesn't pop up.

I've just encountered the same issue on PS4. I've read online that others are experiencing the problem after joining the Brotherhood Of Steel. I'm much farther than that at 27 hours of gameplay. I can't recall exactly when it started occurring as I just like to walk around aimlessly for extended periods of time before needing to fast travel. I think it may have been right after I discovered The Slog and did the quest associated with the ghouls there. Whenever I go to the map on the Pip Boy the notice pops up. I wandered for a bit more and tried it again near Salem but now it seems I'm stuck with the bug. I've tried closing and reopening the game on PS4, as well as deleting the game data and reinstalling. All my previous quick and autosaves contain the bug so I have no way of going back to a previous save without the problem. I guess I should start manually saving more often!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am not over encumbered, indoors, or in a combat scenario. It may be game breaking as I couldn't find a way to board the Prydwen from the ground.

I am having this issue as well. I'm outside, out of combat, and not over-encumbered. My last save without the bug is 13 hours back and I would rather quit playing the game than lose that much progress. The game is damn near unplayable as it is now, quests that should take 30 minutes to complete take hour(s) now. Here's to hoping a fix is discovered or it gets patched out soon.

I have lost the ability to fast travel completely after beginning the mission where i am asked to travel from Greentop Nursery to National Guard Training Yard to kill ghouls. From that point on, I have been unable to fast travel anywhere and I have had to walk everywhere including back to Sanctuary to unload and upgrade.

I pushed forward with Preston as a companion to finish the mission at NGTY, and found the fallen brotherhood knight and holotape. Cleared all the ghouls out, too. Still can not fast travel.

I'm happy to upload anything you need to track this bug down. Admins, please message me and I will give you any additional information I can provide. I'm dead in the water...

This is exactly where I lost the ability to fast travel too.

Same problem for me happened soon after the national training yard, it has totally ruined the game for me.

Replay 20 hours of game time or walk everywhere which takes too long!

The message unable to travel from this location appears as soon as you go on the map tab on the pipboy.

Without selecting a loctation it gives the message.

I'm not in combat, I can have nothing in my inventory, it does the same in every location, I'm at full health,

I've tried in and out of power armour, calling a vertibird doesn't work either it gives the same message.

I am having the exact same issue. Though I cannot recall exactly where it started, it must be some time around the National Guard compound as well. I've done all I can in hope the problem sort it self out, including but not limited to wearing different sets of power armor, completing various quest, changing equipment, spamming fast travel to every known location, loading old saves, restarting system, checking for updates. Thus far nothing is working, and now I have misplaced my dog, and fast travel would make it much easier to track down the little beast. Would really like an idea of when this could be fixed.

I have had the issue since the day after launch.

Any support or assistance would be appreciated.

Just got this tonight, seemed to be start after I killed Kellogg and exited Fort Hagen on the roof. The Brotherhood had a scene right after that where their airship first appeared.

Not sure what exactly triggered it, but I was overencumbered at the time I exited and tried to fast travel anyways.

Even after I stopped being overencumbered I could not fast travel from anywhere

walk outside, you can now fast travel

This solved my problem. Thank you!! My hacking skill is not Master but even after clicking it two or 3 times, it allowed me to fast travel.

I've already been there and hacked that terminal while having the bug and it didn't do anything for me.

Unfortunately, this did not work for me... walked all the way there, tried to hack the terminal several times (to no avail, my hacker skill is too low) and I still can't fast travel.

Okay I went back to the terminal and activated it about 5 times and it fixed the bug. Thank you guys!

I had this bug, and this fixed it! Thanks so much, guys. Walking was eating all of my gaming time. I'm so happy i can zoom around the map again.

Is there any news that this problem will be solved in an upcomping update? I am facing this problem since exiting the fort where i killed Kellog. Am level 21 right now, and spent way to much time to want to start over all again. So this problem is a game breaker for me.
