Cannot get Lover's Comfort from Lydia

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 4:12 pm

I've googled a lot and understand that the marriage system is newly introduced. I've walked through a ton of quirks. Lydia and I can get married and can get back to Breezehome. She'll make me meals. But I cannot get Lover's Comfort.

I can command her after we're married (just like before we were married), and she'll go to bed - but after I order her to sleep, she gets up the instant I Tab out of ordering (on PC).

The various wikis and comments talk about them sleeping in a bed near you. I've tried 24, 48 hours - no go.

Someone help. This shouldn't be so hard. I think I've fallen in love with her.

Did you try bringing her flowers? J/K.... Are you a werewolf? If you are.... no sleeping bonuses for you!

Are you using the Lover's Stone? I believe you don't get lover's comfort if you use that stone.

Yeah, I think this is the problem.
I married Jordis when I couldn't marry Lydia, but still don't get the bonus because I howl at the moon sometimes.
This is totally unrealistic as I know for a fact that most women prefer hairy men!

I never tried it out with Iona because I am a Werewolf and too lazy to go get rid of it at the moment lol. But could it be the Housecarls dont give you that bonus.

Also Lydia is dead to me, she took a knee at the wrong time and one of my firebolts missed and hit her. At the time I didnt know it was my fault thought maybe they could only take a knee so many times before they died lol.
