Hello,

I received The Elder Scrolls Anthology set for Christmas and decided to play all the games in order. I am now coming to an end of Elder Scrolls Arena, but have hit a brick wall.

I am in the Imperial Palace and I have tried to get onto the 2nd floor of the dungeon, but everytime do this, the game closes. I have looked online for a solution, but it does not appear to be a very common bug at all. After this I thought I would check the game files, but as far as I can tell these also appear to be there (of course, I don't know exactly what should be there, but there are 5 files that start with 'IMPPAL' so I am assuming that these are all the Imperial Palace files)

I am just wondering:

1. If anyone has come across this problem before?
2. If anyone had any ideas on why this might be happening?
3. If anyone has any suggestions on how I could fix this?

As I said, I am very close to the end, so it is really annoying not being able to finally complete the game. I have 2 saves outside before entering the palace and I have tried to exit and re-enter.
