I just ran Skyrim for the first time today. So I had to wait for the latest 1.8 patch to download and install. Right from the get go with a fresh install I can’t save or load games. At first I thought I just needed to play through a tutorial a little further, but even at level 4 I could not save games. The only command that does anything in he System tab is Help. All others do nothing.

So here I am, $60 poorer with a useless game.

Note this is a completely new install with no saved games and no older versions. Running on a 2nd gen PS3 (old case, no card reader).

Anyone have a solution?
