[PC] Cannot see the trail from Clairvoyance?

Post » Thu May 17, 2012 8:10 pm

Does anyone have any idea why I can't see a trail? I tried messing with the settings and what not and I still cannot seem to see this trail that is supposed to appear when casting this spell.

It works for me if you are facing the general correct direction.Shoot the spell off in different directions to get your initial bearing and it shows up briefly.

They probbly should make the visual trail last longer.

This is apparently a driver thing; you may also be getting unimpressive flames effects with mage spells. Try updating your drivers, esp if you have an nVidia card. I have this issue too, will update the drivers and test tonight.

I had the exact same thing. My graphic card is nVidia 220. Downloaded the newest driver - fixed both fire and trails. Try it out, it works "like a charm" hehe ><

I did that and still have the issue. My friend says that it stops at about 25% for him and when he releases the charge it shows the path, when I cast it, it just drains all of my magicka and does nothing.

I had the same issue. The patch http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1257882-patch-1-unofficial-bugfix/ fixes it.

i get this problem from time to time, but it tends to affect all my spells. Like my fireball not showing, ice storm is just the ground effect and ligthning is invisible. a skyrim restart always fixes it.

You need to improve your real life ESP skills I guess. Cause I can totally see the path without using the spell in game. In fact, I see all the paths for all the quests at once. Yes, it gives me a headache but that's what Ibuprofen is for.

LOL Just kidding. I got the spell for my character but have not used it yet. Should try though, I've had a couple dragon nests that were in hard to find locations atop mountains.
