someone please help i cant pull out my guns nor can i punch and i cant use vats

I'm having the same issue and there's nothing I've found yet that fixes it

I can use VATS but I can't get the character to shoot the body parts I target - is there a glitch with VATS or do I need to unlock an in-game ability to do this?

I'm not sure if this is the same time but I got shot and used a Stimpack.

When I tried to use VATs, with my weapon equipped (pistol) I could target but my character would attempt to stimpack himself (in a 3rd person view) and no shots were fired.

Talk about a VATS epic fail.

I fixed it by reloading and trying again.

No issues.
