Cant install G.E.C.K. uppdate?!

I get an error message that says "Invalid INI or registry" when trying to update the G.E.C.K., what to do??

There is no update for the NV Geck. I assume you downloaded the FO3 version.

The .Zip doesn't contain an installer, You need to drag the contents of it into your fallout New vagus folder. steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vagus.

possibly a moderator could pin the install instructions because this question has ben asked and answered hundreds of times already. If you could it would be appreciated.

edit, I may have misread its early, I thought he was having trouble with instal. :facepalm:
