cant leave BoS bunker after quests are completed : Fallout: New Vegas

I just finished playing dead money and when I try to leave the BoS bunker the hatch is locked and it will not unlock. Please help!!!

haha. I've only downloaded one update and i downloaded it yesterday. the problem is i have to take my ps3 over to a relatives house to get internet so idk if it is the latest patch.

Delete the game data utility for Fallout New Vegas on your PS3, then, when you can get internet again, download the latest patch. Deleting the data utility may not solve the problem, but the patch will.

so do i delete the game data utility and re install it while i dont have internet then when i do get internet i download the patch?
