ok when i went to resinstall the game, it worked fine. but when i actually went to play the game i didnt start the ea update and i cant play online. how can i fix this?. it also wont appear in my ea download manager games....

Do you have a Crysis2.exe in your Crysis2/Bin32 folder? If so, please right click on it, select properties, details and tell us what version it says it is.

run through crysis2launcher.exe instead of crysis2.exe in your game directory.
it would auto update.
