Hi,

i bought the Game of the Year Edition via Steam.
The Game works fine its just that i apparently cant patch it.

I can install the Patch to 1.7 and it works without errors, the game starts it shows as 1.7 but when i exit the game and restart its 1.0.0.15 again.
I have reinstalled the Game, Windows Live etc. several times. Ive used Windows Live to update the game and i also tried the patch downloaded from your website (i have the german-version and i used the german patch ofc).

I have full Administrator-rights and im using Windows XP SP3.
At first i thought it might be an issue with steam or Windows Live but its the same if i patch directly.
Any Suggestions and Help would be greatly appreciated as im out of Ideas.
