I talked to many Cheydinhal people. At the roumors subject they say that there might be a gate somewhere but I dont get an entry or anything.

Talked to the count afterwards but he doesnt have any relevant subject and ofcourse I get no line.

I did the Kvatch quest and closed the gate.

I am looking for the Thorn guy to talk to just in case I pick it up but I could only find one home for now and I am not sure I can pick up the quest like that (I am guessing not).

Any ideas how to set this up?

Maybe your not far enough in the Main Quests.

You should have no problem if you're at the Allies for Bruma quest.
