hy everyone i been reading thereis a lot of thread about is but i cant find one similar to my case

first of all i know i dont have the best pc but when i install the game first time i was playing complete normal the game medium-low settings

but playing the game at the end then i get the random ingame glitch that when u get close to certain area you get boot to the desktop

now the deal its i try to find a fix for that and all the people says "update the drivers" so i did but now i cant even pass the launcher window

a for a dll. error (nvwgf2umx.dll) wich a fix let now this dll issue happend to me when i update the drivers so i fix it by downloading manually the dll but still cant pass the launcher window because now it says there is a fallout4.exe problem

so i dont think that my problem its my low grade pc because i was playing fine even when bethesda release their last patch all this start when i update the drivers

anybody got an idea of what could happend

also i try everything that the FAQ says i should try

to the play windows mode bordless and reinstall the whole game and delete anymods

Can you roll back your drivers?

Never manually download a DLL unless you actually know what it does. Just because a crash lists the DLL at fault, doesn't mean replacing the DLL will fix the problem. Are you now going to change out the Fallout4.exe simply because it crashed?

I would start by verify the game cache

If that doesn't work, then post your dxdiag report. Also post your mods list.

i also think that could be the problem that the fact i manually fix the dll problem so first i clean the drivers since that dll was related to nvidia i reinstall the driver fresh new then run the game cache to verify anything that could pop up with the reinstaled driver

i directly unstall the nexus mod manager and thefore all the mods

Uninstalling mods may not fix an issue in a save.

Mods list would still be important. Also if you upload one of the saves that is crashing and exactly where it is crashing. I could test it on my PC, to see if its the save.

mod list? but this happend to me even when i clean all the mods in the pc and make a full uninstall and install the game i think its related to the nvidia driver update but i try to rollback the older driver and if id not that dll crash error its the fallout4.exe error altough idk what to do the worst is that steam would not refunde the money im so frustated whith this

about the mod i use before i dont remeber wich ones was because i delete them

in aditional this happend to me in like my third gameplay because the first time i play the game in vainilla (no mods) second time i play with some mods (graphics improved) this also after and before the last fallout update on steam then i update the drivers because i have that kick to the desktop when getting close to certain areas but this dont happend to me before in my first and second playtrough

Its your responsibility to keep track of any mods that you use. Usually saves don't work well if you remove mods mid-play. If Fallout 4 save system is anything like Skyrim's some data is 'burned' into the save and not easily removed, so disabling/uninstalled mods will not always fix issues said mods cause.

The Nvidia driver may be crashing, but it may only be a symptom of a miscall in the Fallout 4 programming code.

so how i retrieve the mod list? i remember some texture improvements, ammo rack, robot defense, proton vaultsuits, some other textures for the power armors

so i do some magic and i could retrieve the mod list i was using

but for the record before i update the nvidia driver in my 3 play i got an crash

no warnings as i say before just boot me up to the desktop

when i update the drivers i got the nvidia dll error i show above
