Alright so here goes.

Ive been having this problem with my computer and fallout 4 since I got it. it was no big deal, the game would crash my monitor but nothing else on my computer but I would have to unplug it from the back just to get it working again, and no error messages when restarting. I could probably go for about 5 hours before that happened so it was no big. But now, it was happening every 5 minutes and was annoying as all hell. So I updated my nvidia drivers to the newest they have (361.43) and now I cant even load into the game, only get to the menu and press load character for it to instantly crash. I'm not using any mods either.

if anyone can help with this I'd appreciate it a lot.

ASUS Nividia GTX 970

i7 processor 4790 @ 3.60GHz

16 gigs ram

windows 7

My DXdiag had no reported problems either.

Previous saves? New game?

Could have been your GX card was getting too hot so it went enough is enough so it didn't fry. You tried windowed/borderless mode?

Please post the full dxdiag post. We might see something that you have missed.

Same issue. Submitted to support. Loads and then crashes before game starts. 152 hours total without problems. No mods, just base game.
