i cant play this game anymore

The Upload is important, not the download. So, if you get 32MB with only 1MB Upload, it won't help you.

Like i said, if you are far away from a central relay that everybody connects to, there is nothing you can do and this degrades your connection quality. What connection do you have right now? Do you have 8MB or 16MB?

8MB isnt it related to the host? (if the host is in ur region u get 4 bars, if he's away u get 1 bar)? because when the host is my friend (xX_1UAE1_Xx) he lives in the uae i get 3 bars but when any body else is host i get 1 or 2 bars. dont they have to make it like mw2 (only locale) ? cuz in mw2 i always play with people with usernames lik xx-joker_KSA or uae_2455 or kuwait--XX--4ever etc... do u get me?

This is what they call matchmaking buddy. Matchmaking usually takes care of the fact that you mostly play with people in your region ( UAE, KSA, etc. ). This is why you rarely have problems on MW2. The matchmaking on Crysis, as it is right now, doesn't really care so you end up on a server with ppl. from Spain, Italy, Russia, etc. and sometimes the connection is just **** up.

If you would have played MW2 against ppl. from europe, you would have had the same problems as you have on C2 now, due to the matchmaking.

Upgrading your connection wouldn't be too bad, but i doubt it can solve your problem. As long as they don't fix the matchmaking, the connection is just broke sometimes.

dude, you need to do some port forwarding in your router.

Some games you need to do that, depeing your routers model and default configuration.

Se a fix IP ou a DHCP lease time, inserted the mac adress of your wireless card or ethernet card...and set this IP relationed with your ps3 mac address in DMZ Zone.

That dosent help my port is set to DMZ, they need to do a big fix on the matchmaking or this game will fail. Sad to say but the game is eye candy but if the online svcks then they will stop buying it. Thought they would want to sell double the copies then they did, EA needs to step in to do dedicated servers there is to much of a demand for P2P system. The only person that will have fun in a match is the host, this game could be the game of 2011 right now but online gaming means everything and to not fix it would make it another fail for EA.

This is a good thread with constructive input. Thanks for posting the links to the connection test sites. I will test my conections tonight too, just for fun! That is really cool.

they absolutely need to fix these connection issues on this game!

they have a great MP game here but it definitely needs some fixes. right now i am honestly just playing it & trying to ignore all the problems.

crytek needs to learn what the **** a sticky is and post one in the ps3 forum letting us know if they are aware & planning on addressing any of this so we all stop coming here & complaining!

We don't have to stop coming here... we can all just have a nice talk about our experiences, the good and the bad... But on a mature way.

And there will always be complainers, since nothing can or will be perfect.
