Cant wait for my Super hardcoe Survival

Post » Tue Mar 22, 2016 7:25 pm

I have 2 mods that reduce the amount of ammo looted and the other reduces the amount of loot in chests. Those coupled with new survival mode coming soon (was it the 24th? I hope its the 24), I will be in for a grueling survival experience.

Thankfully I also have an ammo crafting mod so I can disassemble those rounds I don't use and make them into something I do use.

So keen for a new play through with Super hardcoe Survival.

to the best of my knowledge, survival update is not coming out on the 22nd. The survival update does not yet have a release date and is still probably being updated/tested by Bethesda devs

The first dlc, automatron, is coming, out on the 22nd.

Same here I've beev playing Survival the past few days and self imposing the new changes we know about and honestly the 2 changes everyone has been worried about havenn't been an issue. No fast travel at all is actually more fun than I thought it would be with all the random encounters.

Well it would be awesome if it's released next week. But I haven't heard a release date

Its mainly because of strong back perk. I am often overencumbered, i like to load 2,000 pounds of loot and fast travel to DC and barter.

Me too, can't load up the game until the survival overhaul release. They haven't confirmed a date, or announced a beta yet as far as I know...but I'm still hoping for a release sometime next week.

I really hope the moaning from the dodgy PC mod users doesn't result in toggles and watering down of the new Survival.

Idk I think a toggle system would be a good compromise for Bethesda. The community seems pretty divided about all the potential features. Yes modders can always change it to what they like, but there are a lot of console users that wouldn't be able to. I believe Bethesda has been trying to make their games accessible to a larger crowd. I think it makes sense that they would continue that trend and make this feature as accessible as possible.

Personally I would play with all difficulty features toggled on. So it doesn't really matter to me one way or the other.

The "dodgy PC mod users" are the ones that will be able to change survival mode to their liking by using mods so I doubt PC users moaning is the loudest.

Regarding the date you could always hope for the beta to be released closely after automatrons release, as they stated it will most likely be an open beta (pc only) for a month before full release. So if lucky, we "dodgy pc mod users" will be able to play the survival soon.

I don't think a single PC mod user is complaining about the save restrictions: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11111/?

Yeah, I can't see why mod users ("dodgy" or not. No clue what a dodgy mod is, though) would bother complaining about Survival features - they're the ones who can tweak stuff to their exact preferences.
