I want a black cloak with the possibility of having hood up or down. That way I can kill in style.

I say Yay as long is there are no stats on them. Or else I would have the problem of "Okay, so Bethesda hands me a pink cape with a unicorn and a rainbow on it, but it gives me increase of 1000 on all stats...fml" Radiant AI would laugh at me. Of course there wouldn't be a rainbow cape in Skiyrm (without mods of course) but what I'm getting across is that I don't like to wear capes, so it would upset me if the game basically tries to get me to wear one by offering me great stats if I equip it.

Please capes. K thx.

Seriously. I really want capes.
I've been waiting for capes since before Morrowind.

What's a fantasy RPG without capes?

I've seen ALOT of YaYS so maybe Bethesda will put the feature into Skyrim, still gonna buy the game even without them but would really like to see them in the game.

In the "new" screenshot up on Game Informer, the cloth hanging from the Nordic hero's waist is billowing in the wind. Looks like they just might be able to do capes and such.

Yay!!!!!

And if at all possible I want the most customization in this game than any other game. If I wear a shirt that can be buttoned up, I want to be able to choose which buttons I button with!

I must say YAY!! I've been waiting like crazy for an RPG to contain Capes and Cloaks so I can finally go with the complete Ranger (Aragorn) look!

I so very much like the way you think my friend!

You forgot to make a redundant poll, OPer. :P

And... I'd like capes only if there's a proper jiggle bone/cloth system implemented. I used a cape for a while in Oblivion, but eventually the fact that it was just a clever rig job to the skeleton bugged me enough to ditch it.

I didn't know that it would get this much attention thats why i didn't make a Poll. Maybe if we keep this thread up we can get bethesdas attention and they wont leave it out!!!!

Like I said, check the screenshot I posted above. Cloth physics are in the game and are actually being used on a certain part of that Nord's attire. Whether or not Beth makes capes and whatnot with it remains to be seen. As it is now, think of that waist-cloth as a mini cape. ;)
