This is a mission based group RP that will follow the people of Vault 84 as they attempt to take over the Capital Wasteland, one town/faction at a time. The RP is set in April 2278 and will take place exclusively in the Capital Wasteland. This RP will revolve around the Farm, it will be our hub, after every mission we will return and take a period of grace where players will be able to interact with each other and some of the farms NPCs. Oh, and this RP will only be accepting seven members and unless you plan on dedicating yourself to this RP I wouldn't advise joining because if you fail to post often your character will suffer a horrible death and you will be booted from the RP. And sorry if I sound mean by saying that, but I want this RP to succeed and RPs never succeed unless its players are dedicated to it. Also, if you have a reason for not being able to post for a couple of days that's fine as long as you inform me. :smile:



History/Intro

In the year 2277 twelve members of the Vault 84 security team were tasked with using one of their Garden of Eden Creation Kits to create a farm outside the Vault. The vault dwellers found an abandoned farmhouse two miles away from Vault 84 and decided that it was the perfect place. They used the G.E.C.K.'s fertilizer system and brought the soil back to life then proceeded to plant a variety of vegetable seeds.

Three days after activating the G.E.C.K. the vault dwellers encountered raiders for the first time, they were able to defend themselves but it made them realize they needed defenses so they used a chemical found in the G.E.C.K. that when mixed water and sand or dirt creates a substance that is hard as concrete and built walls around the farm.

As the months went on they built two dozen houses with their “dirtcrete”, six of the vault dwellers returned to Vault 84 with good news and collected another twelve vault dwellers. Each of the vault dwellers at the farm choose one of the twenty-four houses and made it their new home.

Two weeks after the vault dwellers were settled the Overseer visited the farm and asked seven vault dwellers to attend a meeting in the farmhouse. You are one of these vault dwellers.

Character Sheet
Your character is from a Vault so if he/she is not a security guard they will be wearing a Vault 84 jumpsuit, if they are a security guard they will be wearing Vault 84 security armor. Don't worry, this won't last forever. I'm sure you'll find a new suit of armor/new outfit when we're out on a mission :-) As for weapons, this Vault was equipped with one hell of an armory. Their's Laser Rifles/Pistols, R91 Assault Rifles, .44 Magnums, 10mm pistols, 9mm pistols, frag grenades, 10mm SMGs and combat knives. There's also a couple of other weapons but those are off limits to players, they'll show up in mission though.

One last thing... You are from a Vault, that means you've barely seen violence and unless you were apart of the Security Team you have no combat training, even then members of the Security Team only have basic training. What I'm getting at is don't start out at as a bad ass, that's no fun. Having your character become a bad ass over the course of an RP is though.
