Maybe, psychologically, the Mojave appeals to more people due to the brilliant blue skies, the greenery, and the all over sense of life being renewed?
I dont mean humnan kind, I mean simply planet earth itself, seems to be healing and improving in the Mojave, whereas in CW it seemed so dire, hurt, bleak and empty.
I didnt realise at first why even myself was drawn to the Mojave rather than the capital, but I finally realised this was the reason why!

What's not to love about brittliant clean blue skies, the final re-growth of plants and nature, pure clean waters and fresh air?

Which would I WANT to live in?

Why the hell would anyone choose the CW over the Mojave? The CW is an absolute warzone with limited resources and very few inhabitants. In the CW, every trader had his own name because they were so rare. In the Mojave they're everywhere. The Mojave is just about as civilized as it gets in the Post-apocalyptic world. The only danger of the Mojave is Caesar's Legion, but let's face it, Caesar's Legion has the least likely chance of the four of being the canon ending.

Vegas, presuming I could wrangle my way onto the Strip. The Capital Wasteland's a great setting for a game, but I wouldn't want to actually live there. Between the Super Mutants and Raiders I don't think I'd last five minutes and if they didn't get me radiation poisoning would.

Clean water
No radation
Law and order (for the most part)
Fresh food
Working economy
Gambling
No super mutants kidnapping people.
Just miles away from the Legion where there is law and order

Yeah I am going to have to go with the Mojave :tops:

These are my reasons.

You can be your own boss in the Capital Wasteland

Capital wasteland is a turd hole but there is ok places to live tennpenny towers ,rivet city ,megaton ,the citadel .But it's a bit more of a warzone than Mojave wasteland but it's in limbo and if Cesar is it's new ruler then ill have to go fetch my slave robes :cryvaultboy: .

Why isnt THE PITT in that poll?

I actually choose CW, yu know roll up into megaton the nukes already disarmed and the lone wanderer is dead so ill have his house. and stay there waiting for the inevitable.

Though it can be kind of hot (I don't like hot weather), I would go with the Mojave. As long as you avoid the dangerous areas, it is not too bad. Fiends are probably the biggest problem.

As just a normal everyday citizen, definetly the Mojave. It's cleaner, safer, less irradiated, food and water are easy to come by, i won't get horrased by raiders constantly, less giant irradiated creatures to kill me in settlements and oh yes, no super mutants hell beant on turning me into one of them.

Now if im some guy whos got weapons galore and whos a great survivalist and a great shot, then definetly the capital wasteland for somewhat obvious reasons.

I wanna say Capital wasteland but i cant because its just not civil enough. Mojave wasteland seems the most safe and satisfying. GAMBLE GAMBLE.

Definitely the Mojave, since 80% of the CW population seems to be raiders.

It has the:
lights
safety
luxury
lots o' caps
it is the fabulous N.....
Spoiler
Nelson! .......in the Mojave
Nelson has lights...the sun brings light to Nelson at day
Nelson is safe...I don't see any random piles of sticks running in to the town do I?
A worn bed and a worn couch in a dimly lit room can be comfortable
The lots of caps in nelson is me.
So come everybody! To the Fabulous Nelson!
