Is the Capitol Wasteland in Fallout 3 significantly smaller than the Fallout New Vegas Mojave Dessert?

Area-wise, the Mojave is smaller (even more-so when you count how much inaccessible regions are in the map). But north-south-length is longer for the Mojave.

IMO, the Capitol Wasteland has more interesting points of interest than the Mojave. BGS are better sandbox world builders than Obsidian, I think.

Id have to say wasteland is bigger than the Mojave. Granted the grids and inaccessable areas are roughly bout the same, but fo3 had more "dungeons" and more areas in subway tunnels and such.

Ahh, the DC Ruins "Super-Dungeon". IMO, that's what FONV was missing.
