Caravan Merchants

Post » Thu May 26, 2011 9:03 pm

It seems to of the four merchants have died because of albino radscorpians. So I tried the resurrect command on them. This works exept their repair skill and inventory gets reset (I've invested in all of them). I try to go and invest in them a seocnd time but uncle joe says tehy are still dead. Any console commands I could use?

Nope; dead is dead, as far as scripts that track when people die.

Wolf3131, don't know if you're interested in 'em, but since you're on PC you could take advantage of some mods-- I haven't tried that many of them, but http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2761 includes a rewrite that gives all the merchants 4 serious guards each -- seems way more plausible in the later levels, and they survive a lot better.

Actually, FWE includes a really deep stack of stuff that fixes minor complaints about the game... and you can configure all kinds of stuff just how you like it.

I'm not that great at installing the mods, but I figure if I can make 'em work, anyone can!

Actually I consider myself a mod-o-holic, with 250 installed :(

FWE is not my thing though, it changes the game too much, and because I don't like one or two features I perfer to download a hundred mods to personally customize my Fallout, rather than one big thing that has things I like and things I don't. I did fix it with this mod though http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10067

lol. Yeah, I think I'm on my way to that. I'm going to take a break for a couple of weeks 'til NV comes out.

Make my wife stop rolling her eyes quite so much...

Glad you found a fix for that dilemma.
