Carrying enchanted items is giving me the bonus?!

Post » Wed Dec 25, 2013 11:57 am

Perhaps I never paid attention before, but yesterday, I did a quick look at my affects to see if I had a disease, and I was shocked to see I've got Pickpocket bonus of 25% (x2), 1H 25% more damage (x2), and Alchemy 25% stronger (x2).

These are based on the rings and necklaces I enchanted. I'm carrying them, but not wearing them.

However, the bonuses are working! Glitch or was it always like this?

It's always been this way. You can have an even longer list if every item you have equipped is enchanted.

Thanks. Never knew this. Welp, time to craft more enchanted items, then... and carry them. :D

So this works on . . . . PC? Xbox 360? PS3? One of the three, two of the three, or all three? I have PS3/PC copies of Skyrim.

Sounds like a glitch to me.

I'm on Xbox, and it most certainly DOES NOT work this way for me (I just checked). I have to have the item(s) equipped to get the effects. So I think what you have is a glitch.
