Sad considering what he went through in his last days. Kasem was a well known voice actor who did the voice of the original Shaggy from Scooby Doo and he did some Top 10 Music Videos ways back. I wish his last days wasn't filled with him being in a tug o war with his "wife" and daughter.

More than that. His American Top 40 was one of the top radio shows for two decades. The guy was a legend.

He did quite a few voices for cartoons, although Shaggy on Scooby Doo was the first. There was an interview at one point where he said if someone had told him that 30+ years later Scooby would still be shown and have multiple new shows and movies, he'd have had the person committed.

Yes he was and I guess that's what irks me the most about this, this guy was a legend and yet his last days where filled with him being in a tug-o-war between his "wife" and children, he deserved better. Well at least he was able to be with his children in his final days so his kids could say good-bye but something tells me there's going to be a nasty legal battle in the future.
