Cassandra the Defiled,
Chapter 1
Champion of Azura, Listener to Sithis, and vampire under the shadow of the moons, Cassandra the Defiled has become one of the most fearsome warriors in all of Tamriel, if not Nirn itself. It is said that her sword, the Nightbloom, hits as the thunder : both never strike twice on the weak. The same blade that brought down Alduin has also ruthlessly met the blood of many innocent and defenceless, bold and fearless, and also the false and treacherous. She has an affinity for lightning, and will often dispose of it to disintegrate her foes ; for this reason, she was called the Stormblade while under Ulfric's command. But her greatest enemies are those she can not possibly take out : the Nine Divines.
For there are few things she likes, but many things she hates. And among those things are the ignorance and cowardice of those who worship the gods, while their brethren die in vain. After incarnating revenge for many long months, she had seen the world through eyes of pain and hatred, but also cruelty and blood thirst, and considered herself beyond humanity. Killing not for pleasure, but to put the unworthy out of their misery.

But Cassandra was not always like this, no. A long time ago, she was a kind and civilised young woman from Cyrodiil, an Imperial, trained in the art of the blade by her father Arion the Wanderer and in lightning magic by her mother Gala. Living in Bruma, she was taught honor and bravery, inspired by the Nords who once in a while passed by on their way to Skyrim.
She had always been told to trust the Legion and stand by their side in time of need. However, as the civil war raged across the Northern Lands, her parents were caught to be Ulfric's spies and were sentenced to death. Thinking their daughter would also be put to execution, they sent her to Skyrim as an anonymous orphan before getting caught by the soldiers. But it all happened so fast, that Cassandra never had the time to know whether or not her parents truly were spies. Her soul was tainted for the first time with a wish of revenge.
Her arrival in Skyrim was welcome by the events we all know too well, Alduin's attack on Helgen and Ulfric Stormcloak's escape. However she survived, and despite her parent's death, she decided to give up on revenge and begin a new life, becoming the noble warrioress her father would have wished her to be... for the time being.
