Casting arm

Post » Wed Oct 12, 2011 6:31 am

So when you cast a spell, like healing in 1st person, ive seen in the demo that you can clearly see the forearm and the hand.
Now, my question is, will this be the same for all players? many races like argonian, orc, elves, wouldnt have that same forearm and hand. So has anyone seen any evidence that it isnt a universal human arm?
or does anyone know if this info is out there and we will definitely have different arms for the different races?
That would be a big blow for me if i was an elf and did a spell and saw a human arm

Now, why would Bethesda do that?

Using the powers of common sense i imagine you see the same arm you see in 3rd person.

You can clearly see Argonian arms in the PAX footage.

Would be funny seeing an argonian hand attached to a human arm though. For the first time. Then it would svck.

It defies logic to think that Bethesda would make such a petty mistake such as giving an argonian a human hand or anythign of that nature

Pointless thread is pointless.

but of course it's different for different races, and also you if you make a super beefy Nord
you can tell a difference between the forearms.

I thought you were asking if everyone was going to assign a spell to the same hand as everyone else. Which I wouldn't of course, not even in real life, since I'm almost ambidextrous. If I could play my bass guitar left handed as well as right handed, I would be able to take out almost.
On topic, Bethesda wouldn't do that, they aren't stupid. Weird topic. I'm gonna wait and see if this turns out to be a troll's first topic before going completely dark side.

You have proven unto me that you are no troll. Troll doesn't use big words like honest and experiment, or names like Aristotle and Galileo. To most trolls, Galileo is just a name that Queen came up with.
I highly doubt Bethesda would release the game leaving all character's arms the same. If they do, I will return it, because the rest of the game would svck as well, if they took that kind of shortcut.
