Casualty List

Post » Tue Oct 26, 2010 8:27 am

Depends on how you look at it. It won't be a RP, maybe a FanFic. I just don't see an Rp happening on that.

Bah, you know me and my sense of humor.

It could work, but only in TES probably. It would be too cheesy of an RP in Fallout.

Well, if you're lactose-intolerant, don't read it. For real though, it could work. Think of it, maybe the Dunwich Building turns super demonic, and creates a whole lot of creatures or something? I still have to fix the kinks, mind you.

We need a bit more originality here, maybe a Fallout FanFic sort of crossed over with Van Helsing?

I CALL DIBS ON A FALLOUT/HALF-LIFE-2 combination. It will be a RP, and only those who like thick paragraphs, and detail are allowed. Because frankly this maybe my last RP on here?

Oh....*Tears start building*
lol, hurm, that sounds well enough, maybe that Enclave and Combine join forces? Anyway, I don't want to be on the receiving end end of the Bear's spam-attack.

Lol, you seemed enthusiastic on that one!

Shadow, you're right, it could work. Bethesda games, the Dunwich Building, and Point Lookout are all littered with HP Lovecraft stuff. In fact, me and Nazgul have wrote up a story using most of his lore to be used on another site.

But I digress, with the existing Lovecraft motif, it could be unique and fun.

You can join if you like. I know you'll stick with the Rp. :)

Considering the Combine's dimension-hopping technology, it could actually work.

It could, I am interested in it. If you want anyone to collaborate with Strangelove, send me a PM. DO IT.

Meh, I should get back into the swing of things. But to reiterate:

I don't want to be on the receiving end end of the Bear's spam-attack.

Wanna add me to the casualty list? I fit the category well enough again I guess. I don't plan on staying for much longer, I'm tired of writing about Fallout now... Great memories though.

If I could find a new site, I'd hop on. Writing about TES and Fallout is fun for only so long, ya know.

Until I am on my deathbed, keep me off this list. I plan to die typing my last words on these forums... "Darn, level 100 god character cast a damage over time spell on me called aging. Goo---"

Just kidding about the last part. I will stay with these forums for quite a while though.

Erandur-Vangaril was a pretty good RPer. I remember him from some TES RPs he was in. I think MAD-MAX could be added to this list as well.

I would just like to say...

:salute:

To all our veterans, are folks who have left, our friends who are on their way out.

I would like to say, thanks for your help in teaching me, in teaching others, and teaching each other how to RP better. We can only make the forum great if our great RP'rs train us...

May I add my thoughts on this?

I believe while there are many reasons for - well, let us be honest - this section of the Beth fanfic world not being filled with good writers and good stories, the main reason is...

...The SNOWBALL EFFECT.

Which is: some good writers write on a forum. They attract a large audience, including some literary readers who can not only applaud but also critique. This stimulates them to write even better. This attracts twenty more to start writing, of which two become quite good. We now have four good writers. This attracts an even larger audience, which in turn churns out more good writers....

If you want to start a good writing forum, you need at least two and much preferably five good writers who not only will write but have the peserverance to write for at least twenty long posts without much feedback. From this seed the snowball will grow.

Come over to the TES section and see it in action. It's working IRL there.

So gentlemen ...

if you want this forum to flourish, you must find that all-important, hardy seed.

OK guys, enough of who was possibly banned and who has possibly made alt accounts. We don't have that kind of discussion on these forums.

If you want to know something PM me - but I won't tell you so it will be a waste of time. :D
