Catalyst 11.3 Drivers

Right OK, like other users out there I was getting the flickering Issue with my HD6870 Crossfire set up.

Downloaded the new 11.3 Drivers and Cap Profile. Restarted and Horrah, no more Flickering. However.

Running the game in crossfire is Slower than in single GPU mode. If I run the game on one cards it's smooth as butter only dropping below 60fps on occasions. When in crossfire mode I have about a 10/20fps drop. What is going on? It's like Black Ops all over again. Crossfire is going out the window.

Is this Crysis 2 Problem or AMD issue?

Probably a little bit of both. AMD claims something changed in the game at release that broke Crossfire - or at least changed it. With all the problems this game seems to have on the PC, I'm not so sure multi-GPU was given a whole lot of consideration.

Regardless, after much dikeing around, the best I've got going is the latest 11.4 preview build with the new CAPs from Rage installed. I then use Radeon Pro with the FEAR profile and I force AFR. I get good performance and no flickering. I hold 60FPS with vsync on using max settings at 1920 x 1200..
