Catylst points still stuck at 0 after installing 1.2 patch.

With 1.2 patch installed...

After killing one of the aliens and the screen stating I earned 100 nanosuit catylst points, the catylst count is still stuck at zero in the nanosuit customization screen. I guess the 1.2 patch didn't fix all catylst problems.

Additional info...
The objective where this started happening is: "Destroy the Spore Conduit: Access the spore silo". Before this objective, the catylst count was incrementing.

I have since stopped playing waiting for a patch to fix the problem.

Did you ever restart or load a mission instead of hitting resume ?

I have this bug..but starting a new campaign with a new profile and always hitting the resume button keeps the Nano bug from showing up.

If I were to restart or replay a map..then the bug shows up.

See, here's the thing:

Before, your points weren't getting reset to 0 - they actually went NEGATIVE. So if you had 5000 and the glitch happened, you'd have -5000. Pick up 100 and you have -4900, which is still 0 to a player. So you can really only fix it by playing through the last level again. Now that the glitch is fixed though, once you break 0 you shouldn't ever get set back there again.

The last level bugged my system. But i won't play single player ever again, because its boring and no use to play again.

Hope they fix the multiplayer....... more levels etc also they need to release the map maker/sandbox so everyone can start creating levels, cause that was awesome in Crysis1. The levels do look nice but i want some real art, and some jungle levels too!!!!!!

I like jungle!!!

I was hoping to confirm this but my Steam version hadn't received the update yet so i couldn't test it but i believe this may be the case as you stated. Will hopefully hear more feedback from others regarding this or test it tomorrow.

IIRC it was empirically proven a week or so ago. It wouldn't hurt to add a note about this in the sticky, IMO.

idk about that negative points sh!t, but my points have been resetting ever since my first play-through (they never went negative, just back to zero) and they're STILL resetting after the patch that supposedly fixed this bug.

I've reload to multiple different levels to points before this problem started happening and it still stuck at zero.

To have to create a new profile and start again really svcks.

CryTek could have easily coded the program to reset any negative values to 0 when the game starts up, no excuse to for them keep the data messed up.
