Caveman build

Post » Fri May 04, 2012 10:57 am

Hello people (LOL). I wanted for the first time to create a character to help the Legion at the Second Battle of Hover Dam. Of course, the Legion is a bunch of slavers, unmoral assasins and every inteligent people in the Mojave would hate them. This is where i create a dumb, caveman/melee character to help those guys to take over Hover dam. Since i don't know what exactly what kind of build i do, i would ask for your guys help. I was thinking at something like:

-Strength 10
-Perception 5
-Endurace 10
-Charisma 1
-Inteligence 1
-Agility 10
-Luck 5

(Using mods and Confirmed Bachelor i will be able to get Endurance and Agility 10. A true cave man!)

What you guys think?

Sounds fun. I might go with more moderate/average agility, and you have room to play with luck and perception imho. Anyway you could start from square one with this guy with 40 special easy. Are you naming him Darwinius? :D

LOL a Caveman to fight for the Legion! Now there's an idea!!!!!!!! I want to create a guy for my next play-through and actually help the Powder Gangers and the Legion, so yea, I guess his Intelligence will be extremely low, too (plus, hey, it's a guy! :lmao:  )

I tried doing a caveman for the legion play through, it didn't work out. I quit on the courier and quit on the game then. (pre dlcs) The only Legion play through I have been able to enjoy was the one where I was a somewhat intelligent ninja. I do like the idea of a caveman play through, but for the Legion, I don't advise it.

But why? Actually, i was able to get strenght and endurance 9 without trowing all the inteligence points away. Since almost all companions hate's the Legion, i don't need alot of Charisma.

By "caveman" I was under the impression you were going for 3 or less INT so you get the "dumb" dialogue options. Personally, I found that being brainless but working for a Legion made me feel like a slave rather than the "hero" the courier is meant to be. I enjoyed it better when my character made a conscience decision to assist the Legion in their takeover of New Vegas. But that's my opinion.

Yeah, also, if your inteligence is too low you will be getting feel skill points and xp points. So, maximizing the character abilities and leveling up will getting even harder.
