Okay,
thanks for the replies!
I really oughtn't to let Grud anywhere near the computer, especially when he's not happy with his club / urine-potty / mammoth hunting etc...he gets very irritable, as you've doubtless observed. I've tried to explain the words 'patience' and 'calm' to him but he just gets mad and thumps me with his (imperfectly fashioned) bison-bone club. This adds to the sore head that I already had from trying to upload photos. Really, after all this it's going to be an anti-climix if I finally manage it...and I'm about to give up: at least for today.
I'll try to say what I've done in a more modern and up-beat fashion.
I used F12 to take screenshots. I uploaded them to the cloud. I made them public. As Grud tried to explain earlier I also put them on photobucket (foe-toe buck it as Grud might say). I couldn't get an image URL however hard I tried. I also save my screenshots on disc. I've made this particular one my desktop background because it makes me giggle every time I turn on the PC, so I have it in JPEG.
In all honesty, I do find it ridiculous that no social media website has the common sense to allow people to upload JPEG: a format that almost everybody's cameras, ipods and word processors use. Instead you have to go through this tedious and laborious process to send an image. For heaven's sake, Id be quicker tracing a few dozen copies of a printout and hand-delivering them to you!
I appreciate all of your kind suggestions immensely but I'm not one to create all sorts of accounts just to post a picture on one site.
As Grud might say..."Me no want hassle. Me thump Bethesda man on head. If he no want make pitchers easy, he no get pitchers!"
Which is a shame because it was a funny screenshot!
Oh well, you'll just have to make do with my words, such as they are. I'll try to post an account of the scene that made me laugh until I cried but it would be better with an image...a picture paints et cetera...
Thanks again for the advice. I'm frustrated with the policy/practice of the forum's designers, not the individuals who've been kind enough to offer assistance.
Edit: I'll post the scene in this forum under the heading: "Riften cabaret gets the go-ahead, claims report."
