They could (and House), too. They all were at the Institute before heading West.

Seriously. Radscorpions and death claws may be integral Fallout critters but they don’t make any sense. They missed an opportunity for new signature critters. Like giant earwigs (pincer bug) and pill bugs. I would love to see a bunch of huge 12" + long bill bugs scurry away from a corpse. It would have been a cool mechanic for all the bodies to disappear and NPC mutterings too.
You could harvest pill bug carapaces and make armor.
Pincer bug pincer fist melee weapon.
Giant wolf spiders would have worked too.
That title wasn't meant to be misleading, at all.
stingwings are poisonous tho...they are potentially more dangerous than bloodbugs, just have less health..
and cazadors? no thanks, them shifty bullet dodging [censored] can stay in NV...
Fought it, first two times was reload, then MacCready tanked it while I emptied an automatic two bullet assault rifle into it.
Ok. A Behemoth wearing PA. Your weapon is a giant minigun that fires cazadores.
Nightkin suiciders would be the most dreaded opponent in the game. Just hear this beeping, the Nightkin screaming at you, then boom. If you are lucky, you might see a shimmer.
Oh my. Cads were a test, one that everyone in this thread seems to have failed. You want a 10mm machine gun. Those nice bullets, i forget which and you needed to keep them streaming towards you, so backing up a lot. I got pretty good at them, to the hunt them level, but they are tricky.

Not just no.......
Talk about a nightmare...... In morrowind, one of the mods I installed gave them the ability to cast fireballs.... fortunately, not all of them, just.... some...... I would be creeping along, undetected, and then, BAM, outta nowhere.... I get the fireball rain......
You could probably get one to chase you to that place north of Goodspring. Hmm, mine still works.
Yeah, I groaned when I saw it but then felt better when I actually read what the OP had to say.
This.
Wouldn't make any sense. Then again Bethesda doesn't seem to care about that so much anymore so (as much as I would not like it) I could see it happening.
Unknowingly, the institute has used their incredible knowledge of bio-organic composition to create the deadliest monster in the wastes. Something to really bring fear into the hearts of all wastelanders.
Upon desecrating the corpse, it will be brought back to the Institute for replication into a Synth, and no one will be the wiser. A mythical beast that kills without killing. Utterly unstoppable.
No, please no they were a pain in new vegas so much so facing the deathclaws in the quarry was funnier.
In Fallout New Vegas, there were a "Battle Arena" (forgot the official name...), where you could arrange and bet in battles. I've already created a battle with 2 Cazadores vs. 3 Deathclaws. The Cazadores won...
Oh, by the way, some curiosity, that some don't know. "Cazador" is "hunter" in Spanish. Told it to a friend, and it seems that the mystery of the universe was solved for him.
I always got my back-regions kicked by them in FONV. Now that I've played FO4 as an addicted, I'm able to kill them. Bring it on! I want some Legendary version also. I want to make a pile of dead Cazadores.
To be fair, if radscoprions are in DC, it doesn't seem to be that big of a leap for them to be pretty much anywhere else now. It's not like the environment of the Commonwealth is that different from the Capital Wasteland.
And Deathclaws are pretty much genetically engineered apex predators, so they could probably fan out all over the United States and settle down anywhere in the days since the Master perfected them.
Granted, the same's true with Cazadors.
That said, I don't support them being brought to the Commonwealth. Let Bethesda make its own toys and leave Obsidian's alone.
I miss being scared of enemies like I was in NV. Cazadores were always horrible things and DeathClaws were genuinely frightening - no matter what level you were. I don't get the same feeling with anything in FO4 after level 15-20.
Good point. After several days of gameplay, in FO4 Deathclaws are just "oh, another one". In FONV, you could be killed at any level if don't take care.
Well, it's not like they made any sense there either.
I guess they're afraid (probably rightfully so) that people would then complain about lack of "iconic monsters" or whatever. Hence radscorpions, supermutants, Dogmeat, BoS, ghouls ...
It's more convenient to use what's there, even if it breaks the lore (or logic), heh.
