Cazadors are stronger than Deathclaws

Post » Sun Jan 24, 2010 1:40 pm

I have Boone in power armor. 3 deathclaws (1 big, 2 young) attacks him. The big one alone gets about 3 or 4 hits on him. He then proceeds to kill them all. Later on, walking and 3 cazadors attack. Two come after me and one goes after Boone. I am running backwards as fast as I can. In the process of killing the two that came after me, get the message that Boone has died. Should bugs be that strong.

Cazadors are brutal, i was trying to get to Ranger Station Foxtrot for a quest, and it seems no matter what path you take to get there, theres at least 4 Cazadors in the way. Needless to say, i still haven't made it to Station Foxtrot after several tries, all of them with Raul and ED-E on my side. :cryvaultboy:

I'm eventually gonna have to put on a stealth boy and sneak by them.

I haven't run into a cazador or deathclaw yet :)

I haven't run into a cazador yet, but you know that sign south of the quarry that said something like "WARNING DEATHCLAWS"?, I ignored that sign and was Deathclaw dinner becuase of it. :(

I ran into a family of them on my way to Jacobstown, they killed Boone,Rex and me. On my 2nd attempt they killed Boone and Rex but i managed to escape!

They are indeed very brutal.

The trick to taking Cazadors is killing them from very far away. They don't have much HP and can be 1 shot easily but they're VERY fast and do ALOT of damage. If a group of 4+ Cazadors get the jump on you it's pretty much game over.

I ran into 2 of them by Camp Golf, they killed Boone with about 3 hits and killed me in 4 hits. Cazadors are definately very broken.

I haven't come across them yet :)

I'm worried though because I'm deathly scared of wasps irl. They're bad enough as they're are... but speedy giant ones which can kill me and everyone else in a few seconds? I'm predicting myself jumping off cliffs or swimming with mirelurks just to avoid them.
