Leigions because all of their footbal armor is more powerful than Enclave Power Armor. Weird right?

Doesn't piss me off because defeating them in FO2 was hard, if you went in shooting, you died, instantly.

The difference is that FO3 Enclave was defeated in a way that could not have happened to the FO2 Enclave, and forever labels them as weak cannon fodder, which they weren't.

Legion, you can have fancy technology, but that doesn't over power the will of a true warrior, the Legion's men are trained from a very young age to kill.

Thats understandable but you cant charge into war with a hachet and a cloth over you. When your going against people who have Superior armor, weapons, and technology.

Enclave are born into a military state that teaches propaganda and militarism, not to mention the Enclave have official military training and better-than-pre-war equipment.

So are the Enclave, even the civilians are trained in basic combat and often walk around the ENCLAVE with Laser Pistols (good ones!), Rippers and Plasma Grenades; that's how militarian the Enclave society is. They are all fanatically devoted to a single cause, even the civilians, and back up their devotion with constant physical exercise and combat simulations like OP: A.

You can have "the spirit of a warrior", but if you swing a machette at a suit of Advanced Power Armour then it would probably break. Not to mention the sheer gulf in terms of even basic logistical equipment (eg handheld radios), transportation (vertibirds) and actual medical equipment, a [censored] Auto-Doc isn't a luxury in the Enclave.

Realistically? The Enclave. the only reason you ever beat them is that 'your teh main charatur'. They have all the cool toys, just as much (if not more) training as the BoS, and they even how vertibirds.

A good example of this is the Enclave Commander mod. It allows you to summon squads of Enclave troopers in the games remnant power armor, with plasma weapons and gatling lasers, and so on. I used COC to go to the Fort. Guess what happened after I tooka potshot to get things started? 8 Enclave troopers wiped out the entire fortress, including the like 20+ guys down near the securitron Bunker. It was a massacre. The Legion tried charging with their melee weapons and the occasional rifle. It just didn't work.

The fact of the matter is that the Legion are like savages with bread-knives and stones comapred to the Enclave.

Even the EBoS needed Liberty Prime to have any chance of taking back the Purifier. It was just a broken armor system and you had main character immunity. From a storyline perspective the Enclave are in a different leaque altogether compared to most of the Wasteland. Even the NCR is barely more than a modern day army, whereas the Enclave are basically a space-age army tech wise.

But gameplay wise, Legion wins, because the FO3 Enclave are cannon fodder

Legion has access to some heavy weaponry too remember? Vertibirds can be taken out with small arms fire if you go on what they portrayed in FO3. (Destroyed several with Xung's AR before they could land there troops actually.)

they can sport cowboy weapons pretty commonly, and have access to AMR's and even howitzers if you pay attention at Ceasars camp.

So you're saying that if we took an unreasonably weak (due to their lack of DT) Fallout 3 Enclave soldier, and put him against a moderatly strong (because of DT) Legion soldier, that the Enclave soldier would win? Because the Enclave soldier wouldn't win, I guarantee it.

No give the Fallout 3 Enclave soldier DT, and the legion soldier would get destroyed.

Either way the legion is screwed with there poorly armed troops...

Niether did the Enclave, Autumn was going to the distribute clean water, Daddy for some reason took offense to a technological powerhouse trying to get his thing actually working and killed himself in an attempt to actually render the machine useless. Talk about being a selfish arsehole or what; good job he rigged his water purifier with a radioactive bomb beforehand; a sociopath as well.

Once you start talking lore and about the games themselves bias is fine with me. Plue Mr. Enclave has to be bias about the Enclave its his job.

Mr. Enclave I don t know what game you played, but the one I played the Enclave just busted in and demanded control of a private project. All the while claiming they were the U. S. government. Then he shot a poor little scientist and I m pretty sure he saw going to shoot more people.

Daddy was worried about my safety, and that of his fellow scientists. He killed himself to save others, and to keep it out of the hands of the ruthless Enclave.

You know, Legion would have some hard time dodging all the technology outrage from Enclave.
I know that NCR has Vertibirds too, but they don't seem to be using them in combat like the big *E* :flamethrower:
