Which faction do you prefear? This is a question too you yes man and house guys out there aswell

My vote goes to CL. Mostly because Ceasers top followers are from the tribes he enslaved, the people were actually grateful to him for destroying their tribes

I don't like caesar's legion cause of their......ways of torturing people. they're evil and i i dont like evil people that do the thing that they did to jebus. my vote goes to NCR

NCR is like a good variant of Caesars legion.

However, since I am an ongoing Enclave SUpporter, they are my favorite.

NCR or caesars legion with little c, I'd say NCR.

NCR or caesars legion without little c, neither for me.

But living under the Legion gets you the "Not dying plan" if caravaneers are to be believed.

The Mojave (Let alone Nipton) is not under Legion order. It was a town of people who *accept payment for intercourse*.

Key word there people, and they were all butchered without mercy or regret. And what about the people of Nelson? they to were slaughtered when the legion took over. Those two towns are examples of what happens when the legion expands.
And given the legions treatment of women your certainly not safer if your female.

Did you read up on the lore regarding Nipton? As Vulpes pointed out it was a pretty eff'd up place filled with all kinds of bastards. And in a time of war it did serve as the perfect place for the Legion to make its mark.

The people of Nelson? It was an NCR camp before the Legion took over so that's a moot point.

The Legion's treatment of women? Women do have their place in the Legion, but the military is not one of them. Keep in mind that all you see from the Legion in this game is their war camps and they gotta do something with their female captives.

The mayor may have deserved the cross but what about everyone else who lived there?

It was a settlement it had civilians who were slaughtered.

Women are treated as slaves and breeding stock period. When they integrate a tribe the sick and elderly are killed, the women sold as wives. Does that sound like the behavior of a group its safe to live under? There is no word no mention of the Legion treating women as anything more then property by any NPC with the exception of the Courier[if female]

Women aren't allowed to run a caravan company in there territory according to Cass. And why do you think Gloria Van Graff who hates the NCR double crosses the legion by luring them into an NCR ambush? Because she's a woman and knows the NCR will let her do business but the legion treats women as property.

Both have their good and bad points, the NCR is slow, beuracratic and have a bad creed of forcing their laws, beliefs and taxes onto tribes they have conquered. But they have morally good ideals, the legion have terrible short term methods (but at least they're open about it.) on the other hand the legion work towards the greater good, making sacrifices to forward human civilisation. so it's hard to say. As they both have bad short term methods but work for the greater good, they're two sides of the same coin, but if I had to choose it would be the NCR as they at least try to help individual people as well as whole tribes.

Women do serve in the legion military, not as soldiers/officers but they do serve as spies, trainers and people who choose new recruits, so they do have some standing if they are in any of these roles but admittedly not as much as the men.

The only female legion spies are the Courier and one woman who thinks she's really working for the NCR. They are second class citizens at best and slaves at worst. There is no material in the games published or unpublished to dispute this. People need to stop assuming that a military that enslaves women as it conquers would somehow be nice back home in its earlier conquered territory.

You realise it's just a game right, because you're getting really wound up about it, It's not real at the end of the day... So I'm not really bothered to be honest.
