Celebrating important historical events

There are a lot of events that are (according to the lore) being celebrated. I would like to see in Skyrim these days being celebrated, such as day of Broken Diamond. These days might be celebrated by big feasts, discounts, dancing, and so on.

It's okay. OT: They should do it Daggerfall style.

Yes, definitely agree. Small changes, such as banners appearing and more lights on main streets, during some "annual" celebrations would be wonderful. Seeing some villages lit up, with a some more activity in the streets would serve to make the game feel more alive. Great Idea!

Wonder how hard that would be to script and implement.

It would be awesome to like.... walk into a random room and see people celebrating a birthday party or something. Getting drunk at the pub, Loud drunk man yells "its my birthday!!!!!!"
