Cevat Yerli

Post » Tue Nov 16, 2010 6:27 am

Just to answer the original post, i know that Cevat (and a number of Crytek employees) checks this forum and site often, but how regularly i couldn't say. We can certainly try to get a Q&A setup with him but he's extremely busy right now so perhaps it would be a better idea for after the launch of Crysis 2, we'll see :)

How big of a graphical jump will this and next gen be?

And Lastly, How bout that Timesplitters sequel, eh?

Then, thy Crysis 2 will be worth the wait.

1. Are there any plans for a Crysis 3 yet. (I know it's not announced but maybe planned?).
Several things suggest that Crysis 3 is definitely planned. Cevat has (indirectly) mentioned Crysis 3 in an interview. Electronic Arts and Nathan Camarillo as well. Also, there has been an indication that Crysis 3 might already be in development.

2. Is there really no chance in hell that we will see another PC exclusive from Crytek again?
Well, Warface is a PC-exclusive.

My question is: Will there be hot dog stands in the game?

i enjoyed that very much, Aegis, log onto reddit to receive your upvote ;)

and I think the central question should be: TIMESPLITTERS with a big, fat question mark as though to make it a question. I know Bloodyghost already called it but it's just that important.

Another question on my mind is: I've heard very bad things about the controls of the PC version from people who have played at multiplayer booths. Will the Mouse- and general input-lag that was described by members of other forums be ironed out by release? Meaning controls that work as directly as they did in Crysis, or is this a conscious attempt at something and will be pursued further?

@ InternetWhiteKnight

I dont think there will be any flaws in the controls when its gone gold.

Why dont you try Avni Yerli? I have spoken to him before and I think he is a little bit more the speaksman for Crytek? Ofcourse he will also be very busy at the moment, but worth trying to get hem to answer some Q's.

A proper question: To the director of Crysis 1 and 2. Why aren't you a member of your own forum ?

It's nice to know the love is spread.
Don't think dirty or I'll smack you silly.

Don't.

I'd like to know a thew things;
1) What happens when and unstoppable and indestructible object meets an immovable object of the same durability?
2) What was the reason for NYC - what influenced this decision?
3) Why do toasters have settings that burn the bread to an inedible crisp?
4) In your own words; how much of a priority is balance?

Anyway, My answers:
1. Nothing
2. One of the most unforgettable sites in the world. Would have been my pick too.
3. So that you would eat more bread and buy a new toaster from the same company.
4. Not much. Crysis 2 just needs a demonstration.

Enjoy :)

From the newest trailer, we can turn blue. I guess in power mode.
