Hey guys,
today I was wondering whether Cevat Yerli has ever noticed our feedback, or how he would react to it. Also, I would like to know what he thinks now that we have shared all our opinions with others and with the Crytek community.
I think noone really knows whether Cevat the website often, or just never visited or if he throws a look at it every day to see how our opinions continue to expand. But actually, I think, that he doesn't. Perhaps he simply doesn't have the time.
I like Cevat, but I personally would like to know what the founder of Crytek would on our review and our proposals.
Now I would also like to know how to think about it.

Hmmh... You know thats an interesting question. I was a long time member (and still i am) of the official Duke Nukem Forever Board ( first @ 3drealms, now on gearbox forums). In the past George Broussard actually gave answers and commented the threads. In this forum i never heard of such a thing from one of Cryteks bosses.
It would be a nice idea to start a Q&A Thread with Mr. Yerli. Maybe Shin can collect some questions and deliver them to Cevat? Would be great.

The best place to do this would be at crysis.reddit.com. If someone posts something, we can all vote what the best questions would be and be able to ask Cevat. Plus, that site works like a forum where people can post a text-only topic and we can all reply to it, it just works better than a forum.

No, no, it'll work here very fine as well, but we'd need someone, who delivers our chosen questions to Cevat and of course, the same person must bring the answers back to gamesas.
So, I'd suggest, that everyone suggests some questions and afterwards we choose the ones we want to be answered by Cevat.

Well, I'm not sure exactly what the big man does right now. He's probably busy, and with only a few months to go, things are starting to get busy in itself (Crysis, specifically).

He use to indeed be part of a modding community, probably during his younger years (There was an interview somewhere, which told us how he got into this industry). But to tell you the truth, I don't know if what I'm saying is correct.

If you feel the need to, you should contact one of our community managers. Cry-Tom or Cry-Lee. Although I don't know what will happen, it's best you try your luck with them.

I'm not sure what else I could say. Your only best bet is to talk to Cry-Tom or Cry-Lee, they could attempt to do something, but with Crysis 2 coming soon, I believe everyone in Crytek are busy.

I believe that he's not answering the question either because he is busy or because, if he started answering some, the entire forums will be flooded with thousands of questions for him, another thing is that Crysis 2 is still in development and it's subject to change, Cevat can't confirm anything because they could change it in the future, so he doesn't want to raise players hopes by promising something that could be changed or removed later and by this, disappointing them

I dont think we can achieve a Q&A as well. But I also think it would have been nice to see Cevat responding to out questions, not any moderator or community speakers or whatever Cry-Lee and Cry-Tom are (sry fot that...dont be angry).

You don't want to promise things that could be removed or changed entirely.
People would be like "Wtf? Where's ma feature? I'm out this b****!"

But it still seems reasonable to ask, despite getting an answer or not.
I'd like to ask if the main character has nice shoes.

A good Q&A would really help with us being able to relate to the company of Crytek. No offense to the hired community managers or anything, but you guys are really just a middle man between us and Cevat Yerli's busy ass schedule.

I doubt Cevat would have the time to really talk to us in a Q&A or anything like that unless Crysis 2 is delayed again or until the release date. I really like the idea though, and I think it could help unite and ground this community some more, and get some real opinions from the big man himself.

For instance, just seeing his face at the New York Times Square press release and the website opening was really nice, but him being able to answer our questions could really take that to the next level.

If not him then his brothers. He and his brothers run Crytek, Crytek UK and Crytek other studio.

I won't promise anything as that's way beyond my reach but why don't you guys start coming up with some Q&A's here and now, that way, if the chance does arrive we might be able to get some A's out of those Q's Remember though, Cevat does spend a LOT of time with interviewers of magazines, websites, etc... so you should try and come up with some Q's that he may not have answered 100 times already that can be found via a 5 second google

Officially, the questions about him/Crysis 2 that you have, will only be answered by Mr Cevat Yerli himself. It's just a matter of time and patience , and maybe an official announcement.

Yes. Crytek has 134 studios, 130 of which are working on our fairly recently copyrighted "World of Atlantis" game.

Yes, it will use the Cryengine 18 (There will be 12 Crysis games before Crysis 3)

It will be called Power Struggle, but it'll involve player-customisable politicians sitting at a big, round table yelling at each other.

Can we expect a lot of news about the game soon or only closely to the release date?
The remaining 6 trailers will be made public 2 hours from release.
