Challenge Stars?

Post » Tue Dec 14, 2010 8:15 am

Okay everyone. My friend and I just got Brink and we're trying the challenges. Here's the thing, though: we don't know how to play challenges on higher stars than one. Hell, we don't even know how we're picking one star. I've looked at the tip guide in the game, we tried playing challenges multiple times, sometimes continuously, sometimes exiting and starting the challenge over again. Still, nothing. It seems like such a simple thing -- pick more stars -- but we cannot figure it out.

Can anyone help?

It starts with one star, after you beat that level it will go to the next (2 then 3 stars).

We've beaten it three times, and we still haven't unlocked any level 2 stuff.

Try beating every challenge at 1 star... Altho if that's the case, That could be a little... Odd. I'm going to be doing them all as soon as i get the game anyways for all the attachments so i guess it doesn't really matter.

Solved it. The stars for the challenges can only be earned single player, which is kind of lame, but whatever.

Roger!... believe me I understand completely. I'm just impressed with the fact that a game is set objectively rather than KD bull. As I can see, you being a former Grunt you can appreciate it too. Semper fi.

So let me get this straight - A game mainly focused on co-op and complete team work, and yet the "challenges" can only be performed through SP - in order to "achieve" the stars?

My question is what the [censored] is the point in having co-op on it then.
