Co-op is supposed to be harder so if only one person knows what they're doing it will be hard.

would be cool if the challenges could be done in multiplayer like 8v8 style and it could be like hack 5 turrets or something

I think you unlock attachments from challenges, but weapons are unlock from multiplayer.
