hi guys, i finished all the level 2 challenges last night (i was wasted by the end so some were trickier than they should be lol), obviously you unlock quite a few bits of kit etc

the 3* challenges just look like they are for the leaderboards, do they unlock anything? i dont get loads of gaming time usually so i would rather just play online mp if they dont give me anything useful apart from XP (i get more XP online than in the challenges anyway)

another quick question - can if you have 2 or more characters when can you swap between them? can you swap after a game without leaving the server?

3 star challenges are only leaderboards - finishing them is for bragging rights, not unlocks.

You can't swap characters or body-types mid-game, unless you quit, change, and rejoin.

so far, there doesn't seem to be way to switch characters before or after a match without backing out. hopefully that changes to allow pre/post game changes (NOT in-game changes to those of you thinking it would be a good idea...)

They are very challenging and worth doing. And you get an achievement for it! And you also unlock leaderboards and get TONS of experience points to level up doing the 3 star. Basically, with leaderboards, it adds another element of gameplay to beat your friends scores and such.

im 36, io dont have many 'online friends' lol. hardly any of my mates still play games.

if you're aiming to get all the trophies/achievements then give em a shot
the only *** i could do was the parkour one (having trouble? try with the small frame body, they run faster)

Well, for one, they unlock guns -- they should be tricky.

Two, the 3 star ones are simply for people who are AMAZING at those challenges.

Since you don't care for achievements, the only reason for doing the 3* challenges is for bragging rights and the leaderboards, not really worth doing in my opinion.

And, or course, learning the game. Getting your ass handed to you has a way of making you rethink how you are playing, even if its vs bots. Making you come up with alternate routes and new methods can only be a good thing.

the objective one was much easier with light bodytype as you can get up high much easier

just done all 3 with a new character. its easy when you know how. i wish the leaderboards did time as well as points

it really helps finding another way up. i found another couple of routes with medium body

I can't get past the "Be more objective" Two Star Challenge. Done all the other ones. The bots are just to damn stupid, and the enemy bots all have aimbot

I'm level 20, rank 5. I heard that If i started a new char, it would be easy. But would I then unlock the weapons and stuff for my old char?

For achievements and bragging rights. Nothing more.

*** challenges are insanely fun if you do them with other people, even if they're just randomers over xbox live. They get old fast if you do them by yourself, but afterall, Brink is a multiplayer game.

They're a good challenge, as challenges should be. Nothing more.
