Argonian beauty, like so much else about them, is quite alien to men and mer. But with a face like this, a girl would have no end of suitors.

Are the humans of Nirn humans or not?

Also, the humans and elves aren't different species anyway. They share a common ancestry (the Ehlnofey) and they are interfertile. A Nord and a Dunmer could mate and have fertile offspring, which is the very definition of "species" for sixually reproducing organisms.

No, they are not Humans. Cant be, they don't live on Earth, therefore they are not 100% Humans. Not to mention surroundings and culture have just as much effect as genetics. The fact that females are dominant trait wise pretty much shows you that they are not actual humans, since that wouldn't even make sense on Earth. Inter genus would be a better word.

Like I said, you could have elves and orcs and dwarves and whatnot have varying skin tones, minor differences to the nose, changes in eye and hair color, etc., and still have them and humans consider each other potential mates. Start screwing with the basic proprtions of the face and no, it just ain't gonna happen. Think about how important minor things can be when it comes to what you consider attractive in another person's face.

Normal people?.........no such a thing.

eh... if you can get past the tusks and soulless eyes, they pretty much are...pretty. just humans with some overdeveloped teeth and gangreen.

now an attractive argonian? thats a challenge. if you squint real hard khajiit are basically humans with an aerodynamic nose and weird skin, but argonians... no amount of moon sugar is making that sixy :cold: .

What psychology? Humans are attracted to humans, end of story. The very reason that humans are attracted to so-called non-humans like elves is because elves are humans, just humans with exotic features. After all, look at the lore of TES: both Men and Mer are descended from the Ehlnofey, the spirits that could not or did not leave Mundus when Magnus and other Aedra left after realizing Lorkhan had tricked them.

You're really not making logical sense...Is it just that you don't want unique races?

I never liked the Orcs of Elder Scrolls, Orcs are supposed to be UGLY REAL UGLY, Mean, Brutish and carnivorous Monsters with no pitty... but i guess Orcs in Elder Scrolls had to be the complete opposite of that... still dont like them though.

That's annoying, just because it's common to make Orc's savage and feral barbarians doesn't mean they are 'supposed' to be like that. If you wanna get that technical about what something is 'supposed' to be in a 'fantasy' <(take special consideration of that word) RPG then you'd probably have to refer to DnD lore, in which Orc's are not feral at all.

I'm getting stick of this J.R.R Tolkein outlook on fantasy everyone has, that Orc's should be extremely ugly and feral while Elves are graceful and beautiful, if somebody creates a fantasy world and lore, they do not have to stick to the 'norms' of fantasy, if they did it would be boring. Just look at World of Warcraft, the Orc's in that are hardly feral, mindless husks of man-eating meat.

What? You mean the in-game stuff?

I didn't say they hadn't. I've read books in-game that said interbreeding between elves and men was especially common in High Rock waaaaaaay in the past. I'm just saying that for them to have done so believably, they had to have looked pretty similar in the grand scheme of things, or they simply wouldn't have been physically attracted to each other as potential mates. Lots of things look pretty or visually attractive without being at all sixually attractive. The Khajiit and Argonians are attractive - but if you find them sixually attractive then you need to find a good therapist, and fast.

Long story short: Differences like differing ear shape and skin tone and hair consistency and shape of the nose and eye color are commonly exotic and no barrier to attraction - but strong differences in the proportion of the face are simply a great obstacle to sixual attraction.

by attractive, you mean what is attractive to us humans? orcs must have a different view of what they consider attractive, so its not possible to try and make a female orc more like a imperial female. remember, beauty is to the eye of the beholder
