Chameleon effect

The chameleon stealth effect makes your pip-boy screen and gun sights invisible. Seriously? ... this needs to be fixed soon, please.

Like anyone from Bethesda is even reading these forums... lol.

This is how it has always worked, it's not a bug, it's the price you pay for going invisible. If we're being totally authentic invisibility = blindness, so be glad that's not the case. Besides, I've never personally found that it makes aiming all that much harder, nor using the pipboy.

It's actually a bug that happens periodically. Only the device itself itself is supposed to go invisible and you can still read the display but sometimes when you open the pipboy you will literally see nothing. Another bug that happens is that the screen just becomes completely blank if you open it using your flash light.

Hover effects in the menu cannot be read either. Like if I'm switching guns, when I hover over my gun the highlight over the name turns it into a rectangle. I'm not sure how they'll fix that.

lol... the pip-boy screen is invisible... so, yeah it does make it a little bit harder to use it. And the glow dot on your gun's sight. It's not "intended" or "by design"... it's a graphics bug.

Also... for me it's not periodically. It's every time the chameleon effect kicks in. It's a pretty serious bug for a stealth build as the chameleon is very useful outside of this bug... makes you revert to hidden status faster if you are not moving, etc...
