Just wanted to know if there was a way to change your appearance without having your stats reset like they do when you use the ''showracemenu'' command via the console??

When you use showracemenu, do not close the console. That way, when you open the main menu by pressing ESC, the save option is enabled. Make a temporary save, load it and you're good.
